Why I do what I do

I received this from one of my patient's today. He is leaving to go to another placement and wrote this poem for me. It is people like this who make me realize how much I love what I do and that I am making a difference. Just one letter or poem or note like this makes it all worthwhile.

In case you can't read or understand it, it says:
"Mrs. Jessica,
I've learned to have more confidence in myself
just like great power comes great responsibility
Life isn't a game in life to me (?)

I used to be a Caterpillar
now I am a butterfly in the sky

I once was lost but now am found

You helped me see in the dark
you were my light in the dark

But now I see
Because then I might be free
